I laugh and cry at the same time sometimes. I can’t stop till it passes no matter what’s going on. But doc said mine isn’t a seizure. My doc said mine is pseudobulbar affect. When it happens the laughing is uncontrollable and very uncomfortable. If you saw the movie “Joker” it’s like that, except he’s a villain. I’d like to think I’m not 🤓😇
Somehow change in emotions suddenly can cause some numbness in your brain
Me too @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member that overwhelmingly giddy feeling is the most common. I can feel it coming on and my heart races, face flushes and sweat. My neurologist said pba.
I heard somewhere u can trick ur body into calming down by holding a deep breath for 4 seconds and then blowing out thru ur mouth a strong exhale.
That's what I do, I think it works
God bless u all
This has happened to me a few times due to over excitement, it’s difficult because I never know if something I’m really happy about will trigger a seizure
I think the brain location makes a difference. Try deep breath exhales when you feel it start Yoga helps, honestly.
