When I catch myself singing or humming, I know I’m feeling good.

Of course I did some research. Also there is a Cleveland Clinic (very good reputation) article that supports the value of singing.

IN GENERAL, SINGING CAN IMPROVE THE FOLLOWING:
*increases the happy chemicals in the brain. ( endorphins serotonin dopamine
*enhances lung
*improves mental alertness. memory & concentration
* when done with others builds relationships and community
* is a form of self expression
* helps reduces stress

* boosts self confidence
* everyone can do it. ( some impairments are exceptions)

I enjoy it, especially when attending church and knowing that lige only gets better, regardless of what we may be experiencing now.

I don’t have to sing . I’m always getting a song stuck in my head. Keeps playing over and over like a broken record
