My friends and family are caring and loving. When I am outside they just call 911

To be honest I’m not exactly sure why we have seizures at night bc I’m new to this. This would be a question for Randy or some of the other people in our group that have had seizures for a long time. I’m curious too!!

No one is in the room with me when I am sleeping. I only gained confirmation that I had nocturnal seizures when I was in the hospital for a week in EEG Long Term Monitoring and the first 2 seizures I had were nocturnal seizures. All of the seizures that I had in there were partial seizures, thus they were either Focal Onset Impaired Awareness Seizures (complex partial seizures) or were nocturnal partial seizures of either type.

Focal Onset Impaired Awareness Seizures (complex partial seizures): https://www.epilepsy.com/what-is-epilepsy/seizu...
Nocturnal seizures: These can be any of the type of full and partial seizures that you have, but I only had partial seizures while in the EEG Long Term Monitoring, so I have no idea if I have an Absence Seizure while I am asleep. And likewise have no proof that I have any other form of full seizure.

I have only had nocturnal seizures and never been awake for one. I live alone so was very fortunate my daughter was here for the first one. I remember nothing except woke up in hospital next day. I have no idea why I only have nocturnal. Curious.
