I’ve always been a big theme park fan, I loved roller coasters and exciting rides. I’m from Orlando and that was what I did for fun! I’ve taken my kids to theme parks for years. Now after a few years into epilepsy, these things make me nervous. I have trouble putting my finger on it… I just don’t enjoy them. Thanks for the answers everyone. I guess what I’m saying is that I’m surprised that I don’t like riding stuff at amusement parks. Not that I’m scared or trying to avoid them. They aren’t fun to me anymore. They feel too much like my seizures. Because I am typically aware during my seizures, but have no control over myself and they are really freaky and upsetting. Now I’ve noticed that roller coasters give me a similar feeling.
Margery thank you for your words. I am still new to epilepsy and I think I am probably too paranoid. I can only seem to go a few months at a time seizure free so I don’t have confidence in the medicine yet.
I think that I wouldn't mind, going to a theme park, and such etc, I think the last one I recall I was at, was i think in jr high, at Kings Island, 40 some yrs ago, I thought was fun, but the last I remember doing, my opinion
I like doing bass fishing and fishing in general, haven't been in about 2 and 1/4 yrs now, do like getting out and the outdoors and going for walks,other misc stuff that I do as well, I'm more comfortable and down to earth and humble, my personality, but like my life as I live daily. My answer.
