I took Dilantin for about 15 years. After that I was told if taken for 10 years I would get Osteoporosis. And I did. I had to take vitamin D3 pills every day for 2 years before I was okay again.

Took Dilantin for over 30 years and it didn't affect me.

I’ve tried different meds for my epilepsy since starting off back in the ‘80s. Including Dilantin, Tegretol and Tryleptal. But of all the pills I’ve tried, they’ve all had one similar side effect - I’m sexually disabled. I last less than 2 minutes before I ejaculate. It’d be nice if anybody could tell me anything I should try, ‘cuz I’m open to anything.

I have taken Dilantin since I was 7 ... never stopped me! but I do now have osteoarthritis, and peripheral neuopathy.

Yes, i have taken Dilantin and i did have the experience. But it seems like Dilantin isn't the only drug that can give you that experience. A lot of factors are involved such as how your type of seizures affects you and your body. And how does the medication treat you.
