Concerned About A Floating Lump In My Wifes Head
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

One time when she is having such sharp pains in her head . She said it feels like that part of the head is going to explode. I rub gently on the lump . And it esses the pain . The next time it is in a different spot. Not sure what it is or what to do about it . Any recommendations?

You absolutely need to go to a doctor. You may get a referral from him/her. I did a bit of research and there are several things this could be. Please keep us posted on your journey with this Tim3.

Tim3 please have your wife make an appointment to see her neurologist. So she can get a CT or MRI to get it checked out.

Don’t wait another second, go to see a neurologist. Some of the tests a neurologist can do may give You the answer. But don’t wait any longer.

It could be a knotted-up muscle, especially if it is near the neck. My daughter is a physical therapist and sees that all the time causing headaches. Pressing on it helps release it and can alleviate the pain. It could also be a swollen lymph node or many other things. Check it out with your primary doctor.
