I can't answer either way. But I do know when I take multivitamin I get shaky. Scared me enough I've never taken one again. Or any vitamins. Just do what I can to get vitamins from food.
I think our bodies are like a car. Putting different oil or gas in a car affects how it runs. Anything we put in our body is going to effect how we run.
You'd think multivitamins would be safe and helpful. Now you got me thinking. I wonder why medical research has never officially approved any multivitams. Interesting. Something to think more about.

Our bodies are strange things what works for me, won’t work for you. But in saying that if you’re a healthy man/woman who eats a balanced diet, there is little reason to take a multivitamin anyway and your just pardon the “flushing your money down the loo”.

It depends of the type of multi vitamin, does if have colorings ect... of course always ask your doctor

Just like with the medicines, the vitamins and minerals can be great for some people and dangerous for others. I am having no problem for being on a multivitamin and some others for a decade at least now.

That's interesting because I have actually found them beneficial. I'm sorry that its not the same for you 🙁
