A friend of mine is curious about personal experience of team members with this. I have already provided her with the facts provided by the US National Library of Medicine about it. Now, she is curious if there is anyone who has personal experience with it.
For anyone who is curious about the details about the DBS, here are details from the US National Library of Medicine

I had the deep brain stimulation years ago, but the battery died within 2 years after implementation. I had it replaced, but then again the battery died within two years of implementation. I was told that the battery would last 5 years but it didn't.
Not me.
I did many years ago when in my 20's to see which side of my brain the seizures were coming from. Also to see if main surgery could be done, since none of the other testing helped then.
My car accident fractured and damaged me on the right side of the brain.
I had been cut on both sides of the scull, had them glued in various places.
Testing was good and could go through the main surgery 3 months later.
