I was traveling in Europe and Asia in December of 2019. In mid January 2020 I had my first grand mal seizure. I have had 2 additional since then. All my COVID tests have been negative and and I since been vaccinated. We can’t find any other trigger and I have heard about long lasting issues related to COVID infections even after testing negative.
I have generalized epilepsy but hadn't had a seizure for almost 3 years then I had 2 breakthrough ones last weekend, 2 days later I tested positive for Covid 19. I've been searching Google to find any info on a link between the two but doesn't look like there's been much research into it at all so far!
OMG I need to read things bit slower I think, sorry for thinking it said injection when it definitely does say infection, going to blame my seizures for that one.
I haven’t heard of anyone having seizures caused by the virus but as one of things you get is very high temperature so maybe it could. Hope your well, stay safe xxx
I haven't heard anything. But will check around. 👍🏾
I was not asking about the vaccine. My experience and my neurologist both say it is safe and does not cause seizure. I encourage everyone to get a Covid 19 vaccination. My question was about long term effect (long haul) after someone is testing negative. There have been cases of long term health effects. I was asking if anyone experienced seizures as being one of them.
Yes I have heard about that , my daughter In Law works at the hospital , and has begging not to take one , because of what she has seen , so I am afraid to take one , I don't want and more of these things
