There are some counties in my state that have volunteers , who will drive you o you appts. , or just to the store
Hi Kitty I think we have stricter rules in the UK regarding getting your licence back.I suppose it's easier if you've got decent public transport or can get lifts I live in a semi rural area on the edge of a city with good bus links( free bus passes) but I called in a few lifts & got taxis I'm retired now so don't need to do this I doubt I could manage public transport now as I have arthritis Hope you get sorted without the stress of having to move house x
Well depends entirely on the area you live and if they have a public service route. Where I live the nearest village is over 3 miles away and nearest town is 20 minutes by bus or car. Where I live he have a reasonable bus service, it isn't the best but I can live with it.
Depends where you live. We don’t even have taxi service or public transport where I’m from. If I couldn’t drive, I would be hooped.
Depends on the circumstances! 1st of all is that what you want to do! Their is other ways around having to move! It would be a blessing if you had family members that would be willing to help without making you feel bad for needing there help! Also even out in the country we are very fortunate to have the state that will help us with getting around! Look never be afraid of asking for help! I don’t believe any of us ask for that!
