My current medication is $800 per month. I’m covered up to 80% thankfully but even $150 is expensive for a single mom.
Agreed. Think of Keto as a lifestyle change. Not a diet to lose weight. We change the way we eat and for many, the seizures reduce.
I attribute it to no more absence seizures.
Along with a VNS implant, I've come off 1 pill.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member what about the keto diet. my keto thing only cost food supplies and if you take any high meds, it will probably lesson the amount. i went from keppra 1,000 and phenobarbital highest you can go to keppra lowest you can go and phenobarb lowest you can go.
Your better talking to your doctor about side effects of the meds or you can go to www.drugs.com.
For the meds your and what your paying for it is nothing compared to the prices my 5 meds . If I didn’t have insurance, I would have to pay $5000 out of my pocket.
