I have been taking CBD oil, under my drs instruction, for 4 months. I carefully titrated up to a dose of .75 mls in the morning and the evening. I have noticed that since being at this dose my seizures have actually increased. Coincidence or related to oil? Have any of you experienced or heard of this? My dr has suggested titrate down till I am off of it and see if this changes the amount of seizures. My seizure neuro wants to increase my Lamotrigine. Thoughts, comments or concerns?
It works for me. I always recommend that people with seizures give it a try
KevinLouisThompson, how did it change your seizures? Did you have more?
My seizures are the result of a scar on my brain due to neuro-surgery. The CBD oil was mainly to help with my Trigeminal Neuralgia pain.
I suppose I wouldn’t be able to say if my seizures were part of family history....I don’t think it’s relevant anyway. If there is a treatment that works against your epilepsy, Use it. If not then you might want to not stop it
I love the results of using cbd oil, but I also use full plant cannabis oil. The 2 together keep me pretty much seizure free. I had a very hard time finding a good quality REAL CBD oil. There are many fakes out there. I'm currently using 600 MG CBD full spectrum oil made by Ananda Professional. I get it at a local pharmacy in Port Jervis, NY.
