Veterans With Epilepsy How Do You Drive To Work?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was wondering if there were any other veterans on here that have tackled the issue of driving to work. Is there something we can apply for to pay for transportation? Im at a loss for how im going to work. I have about 2 seizures every month.

That very expensive where I live in California. There are no public Transportation in my area. I would need to Uber to it to catch a bus 20 minutes away. I have a paid almost $100 of $$ to be able to go to work and run errands at one point. Is there anything we can get the city to help. At least bring a bus stop to the suburbs?

If you live in and around a metropolitan or big cities, you may want to look into city transportations. Get scheduled times for the city bus, City trains and subways. Then for last resort, check or call a taxi cab. That’s only if you can’t do any of the others transportation services.

6 months no drive after a seizure in Australia. 3 months into my latest ban and I am in the process of selling my car and adopting public transport as my means of transportation as I have become accustomed to it now.
