CBD Oil Alongside Meds?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

Heard lots of fantastic things about CBD oil... recently got some to try after a nasty seizure related fall in the shower, I don't wanna cut my meds so I'm just throwing it out here to see if anyone has tried it alongside their current medication ? :) thanks guys.

I can't say if it's helped with seizures or not but at my emotional complete and utter breakdown today I used the THCA tincture that I made even though it's awful and broke open a CBD capsule and sucked out the insides. Actually, it seemed that the tincture worked right away.
Hope that helps in other ways

I take a CBD pill every morning. I don't know that it helps with seizures but I definitely feel more anxious if I run out and miss it for a couple of days.
I have a THCA tincture that I use if I feel something coming on or know I'm going into a situation that might trigger something (like if I go into a closed room with someone who is wearing perfume or other scents.) It helps, I think. THCA is a non-psychoactive form of THC. It is available at medical dispensaries in Massachusetts. Likely to be available at recreational shops as they start to open.

I've been told that its fine to take it alongside my meds and I've done it. Just talk to your neurologist about it. Another thing is to make sure you have reputable CBD oil because in most states they can sell "CBD oil" for a lot of money and not even have any CBD in it.

I would like to know how well it works as well, but like you Iā€™m afraid of loosing my regular medications right now. So please let me know how well it works for you.
