My daughter has been on this for a year and I can't help feeling that she's "stuck". She's not declining in development but she's also not advancing. Is this a common symptom of this medicine? They checked her to make sure she was still having the abnormal activity to be sure the med wasn't slowing her normal waves. She's still having the abnormal activity, I can't help but think this medicine just isn't what she needs.

I’ve had Epilepsy all my life . Between the meds and seizures, thy can slow down advancing in many areas. I don’t know what areas your you daughter is struggling in, but here are some areas we struggle in.

Talking ( stutter trouble pronouncing and findi words we want to say )
Memory
Comprehension
Slow with Learning
Slow at reading
Slow at writing
And ect.

Many of the things above has to deal with our motor skills of the brain 🧠.

I understand. Ive been on 7 meds before they understood which one helped me. And noe this med is probably making me loose my appetite. Just keep asking what they have for baby girls age. Thats what my mom still has to do and im 24 years old now. Or maybe ask them to do another test. Youre mom so only you know whats best for your baby girl.
