I have been on this for 2 weeks and it is giving me a lot of side effects and it is not normal for me and I have my hands full with kids. I don't get hungry or wont eat for 2-3 days. Is that normal cause it lowers my blood sugar and then I start having seizures something is not right. Any Clues?
I get dizziness, drowsiness, feeling weak or tired; I lose me speech
balance or coordination problems;
nausea, vomiting;
tremors or shaking;
double vision; or
headache.
The first time I took one on an empty stomach, I got so sick. Never threw up or anything, just nauseated, shaking, weak, couldn't walk without help. Did not take anymore on an empty stomach after that. Lol. When my doctor increased my dose again I felt like I was high or something. Felt like I was floating around, ect. I said look you got to cut me back a little or something. He did and the symptoms did start to lessen. He is changing me over to Fycompa from trileptal now. I had another major seizure and he wanted to up the trileptal again. I reminded him of how it made me feel the time before and he said lets try the fycompa. I'll be on it , keppra, and lamictal. He is weaning me off the trileptal while putting me on the fycompa. I wish so BAD that it wasn't a guessing game as to what the perfect combination of medicine was.
