Problems With Temperatures Taking A Shower
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have any problems with taking a shower & need it to be a special temperature or else you start to feel like your getting signs of a seizure coming on? I have a hard time with even luke warm water & need almost a cold shower. Does this happen to anyone else & what do you do that helps?

I slowly make it warmer but can't take a long shower & it can't be hot water or too warm so it's almost hot. My Dr. knows the water causes this.

I had a Right anterior temporal lobectomy 30 years go and find myself temperature sensitive since my surgery. If I stand for a few minutes out in the cold, I need to coax my left leg to move or in hot temperatures I seem to limp more. I have a weak left side because of the surgery.
