I have been having balance problems, mobility issues, falling out the shower, along with problems with my thought process and concentration. Has this been an issue for anyone? Looking for advice. My husband just has me lay down but idk if this is the only precautions I need to be taking.

I’ve had auras were my thoughts go blank. Be talking to someone and my mind goes blank. I’ve had a seizure in the shower. Fell out of the shower and hit my head on the wall. Nocked a hole in the wall , twice.

It depends on whether what you're getting are definitely auras or med side effects as some times it can get confusing. The Auras themselves depend on where your seizures come from as each area is different then everyone who has slight variants is based of these.

Auras are actually early seizure symptoms that can serve as warning signs. While having your husband help you lay down is a good start, there are additional safety precautions you should consider, especially with balance and mobility issues.

Key safety steps to take during an aura:
- Get to a safe place immediately
- If possible, move away from dangerous areas (like the shower or stairs)
- Alert someone nearby if you can
- Lay down in a safe position It's important to note that while some people may get 30-60 seconds of warning with their aura, many only get a few seconds before losing awareness. Given your shower incidents, consider:

- Installing shower grab bars
- Using a shower chair
- Having someone nearby when showering
- Creating an emergency plan with your husband
- Speaking with your neurologist about these specific symptoms

These symptoms are significantly impacting your daily activities and safety, so it's important to discuss them with your healthcare provider to potentially adjust your treatment plan.
