Albany, NY

Whenever I take a shower, I feel more anxiety, and fear that I will have a seizure in the shower. Why I am saying this is in the past I had generalized seizures in the middle of taking a shower.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member make sure to pay attention to the water temperature in the shower as well.
I have had seizures in the shower as well, and I found out that the trigger was the water temperature. (i.e the water being too hot) in fact it actually happened again a few days ago.

There was just a story on the news yesterday of a woman being saved by her 5 year old daughter because she had a seizure in a pool.Thank god her daughter was there to save her!!!We've all been guilty of taking showers & baths with no one around but that story is just another reminder that we need to have supervision!!!I know it sucks but we need to play it safe!!!
