Hi Everyone
I was wondering if anyone has experienced anxiety like feeling(sudden fear, heart racing, sweating) and eye watering when exposed to a red strobe light flickering in the dark
Is this an aura or a seizure?

I started my epilepsy journey 32 years ago with photosensitive. It then progressed into nocturnal seizures as well. I know that feeling with watery eyes and flashes of light. It makes u feel very nervous and your heart pumps harder as u worry. I find closing my eyes, concentrating on slowing my breathing and trying to slow my heart beats/panicking, definately helps. On the plus side my epilepsy became extremely well controlled in my 20's and 30's. Basically a seizure in my sleep approx once every 4 years! 😀 only returned now as i had a bad head injury last year and now seizures have commenced again. Best of luck to you

I am sure You know that flashing lights, lack of sleep, & anxiety are triggers that cause seizures to happen. Don't blame You self for your teacher stopping the movie, she did it on her own-nobody told her to do it. If You are still bothered about her stopping the movie go and ask her why, and find out what her answer is.

Since you have photosensitivity , you may want to buy a pair of sunglasses 🕶, or may want to look into or talk to your Dr. About, special glasses 👓, for photosensitive Epilepsy .
