I've definitely seen flashing lights before but my auras are very sensory- de ja vu, tingling in hands, face, legs, metallic taste and burning smell, hearing voices, etc. everyone's auras are different

I pretty much have the same aura as kaylee. Sometimes I also have the floor moveing as if it's a undulating motion even if it's concrete. Another I have is a serial episoids where people voices echo and it's not a real world or my face ( picture a heart pumping) very weird. Often I don't necessarily have seizure as far as I know. Maybe I'm Wrong

The aura I get is a bad taste in my mouth and feel like something heavy is on me holding me down. This happens every time before a seizure takes place.

Auras are technically partial seizures. I know exactly if I'll end up in status epileptus because I'll have auras leading up to the grandmal- over a span of 2 or 3 days. And they worsen the more I have them. So probably at my worse easily 20-30 partials before the complex partials, abcenses, atonic, and finally grandmal. lol I call it the "big finale" haha not sure if this makes sense but thank goodness I know before they happen. I couldn't imagine not having a warning

Before my complex partials I get vertigo, hallucinate, and feel like I'm stuck in a horrible nightmare. This sometimes goes on for up to a half hour. The actual seizure(hands and legs shake, eyes flutter, left eye drifts to the right)lasts between 1-3 mins. Sometimes I mumble during the actual 'seizure' part, but am totally unaware of anything and when i come to...i don't know where I'm at and very anxious and confused.
My grand mals hit without warning, except for a slight nose bleed.
