Anyone out there with experience with having ADHD along with epilepsy? My daughter's Dr. believes she may have it, and with her behavior and school issues, I think so too. Just want to know about meds on top of the AEDs, and just general experiences. Thank you!

In this months magazine from The British Epileosy association called Epilepsy today there is an article about children with epilepsy and ADHD and it sayd two thirds of ADHD children also have epilepsy. It is good that so much more is being discovered, it's abit late for me,but it still helps.

As an adult with ADD, I take Adderall and Lamictal. It works for me, but each person's system is different. Talk to your doctor.

We noticed our son started having issues focusing. It was like out of the blue. We believe it was a side effect of his seizure medications. He was put on concerta. I hate it for him. It is like each medication has their on side effects and you need another medication for each one.
