Is anyone on the Ketogenic diet and can you please tell us more about it and how it has helped with your seizures?

I tried the Modified Atkins Diet (MAD) as I read that was less severe for adults and therefore the Ketogenic diet was the severe version. It didn't work and when I asked the doctor about it as a complementary therapy I was referred to a dietician who had no clue about either and basically printed stuff off the internet. When I told my epileptologist she told me to eat healthy following the standard American diet (SAD) until the Ketogenic pill finishes its trials and if it's approved for everyone we'll try again
