If you do decide to fly, a little tip for you . To reduce any pop in your ears, here's a little tip for you When the plane takes off. Before the plane takes off I always put some gum in my mouth it will help reduce the popping in your ears, when the plane goes up Into the air.

Yes you can, I flew to Colorado and had one while we were flying.
The airline staff have always been amazing if anything has ever happened. If you are questioning it, getting nervous or anxious about it I would talk to your doctor. When I fly I just take some Ativan before my plane leaves, that way I know I wont have one and since it's also an anxiety medicine it takes the edge off as well.
