Modified Atkins Diet
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone had the modified Atkins diet give you an increase in seizures? I'm currently in a study for it and it actually did the opposite for me giving me more seizures than decreasing them.

Kailey,
It is better that you are no longer on the Atkins diet. It has many other health risks such as high LDL (low-density lipoprotein) levels. I'am looking into other diet options for Epilepsy as no medication has ever helped.
Take care 😊

It might not help on everyone, but it helped me by decreasing the amount of seizures I had.
