Hi everyone I wanted to ask can an apartment put you out because you have a disability and your full time student?

Absolutely not! It would be like playing the race card against somebody and I am sure there is nothing in a lease like that or the United Epilepsy Foundation would be right there on your side about any such thing,

I was fired from a job with a politician. She said I was an "embarrassment to (her) office" because I had a seizure in public with her. I should have sued her, but I was in my 20s and afraid because she was powerful and had a high position.

Its also weird how people misunderstand epilepsy. Some people think you are automatically slower mentally, or they speak slower to you. I have three degrees. It's insulting. Some very bright and talented people have epilepsy, like Prince, Vincent Van Gough and Sir Isaac Newton, to name a few.

just like its says that work can't fire you for disabilities, I was fired because of my hearing loss- i was forced to sign some paper saying i would sue, and then i was fired at my dream job because I was not fast enough due to my mental status.

NO, because you are around other students and you can talk and are around to relate to them and are able to speak with them!

You can also go to the person who handles disability rights at your college. He or she may be able offer advice. Also, you can go to the City Council or state officials.
