Tablet storage for vacuum sealed tablets

Tablet storage for vacuum sealed tablets

In the past I've stored my tablets in a tablet box, but recently I've been moved to Sodium Valproate which is stored in little vacuum sealed compartments, only to be removed just before taking.

Has anyone got any tips on storing these tablets in a way I can monitor taking them?

Changing from Lamotrigine &Epilim (Sod valporate) to Lamotrigine & Keppra

Changing from Lamotrigine &Epilim (Sod valporate) to Lamotrigine & Keppra

Hi I will be starting a medication switch over soon - adding Keppra to my Sodium Valporate/Lamotrigine combination and then will be weaned off sod val in order to prepare me for pregnancy as sodium valporate is harmful to a baby in pregnancy.

I’m wondering if anyone here has been through this/similar and what were your experiences?

I had my first grand mal at 13, and around 20 other grand mals up until I was 15. EEG normal. Since then… read more

Epilim OR Sodium Valporate anybody know what the issue is ??

Epilim OR Sodium Valporate anybody know what the issue is ??

Does anybody happen to know what the issue with this drug is ? I caught a story tailend on the news a couple of evenings ago and parents are blaming the drug for their child's disability. I know it's an old drug I knew somebody that used to take it over 20 years ago then it was known as Epilim. Then I've taken it myself possibly about 10 years ago and it was known as Sodium Valporate, even though it's the same drug.
