Anybody on trokendi and opinion of it??

Has anyone been on briviact before? I am being weaned off of Trokendi xr and starting it. I also take 400 mg of Lamictal. I read side effects of briviact and I am nervous.

I was wondering if this has happened to anybody else? It is the same drug so I’m confused as to what is going on.

Has anybody took the medicine called trokendi xr mine is 50mg and I have to take 2 capsules at night time along with taken 6 depakote er and they are 500mg and I have to take 6 of them at night. Time along with the other one

I have complex partial seizures, 400mg Trokendi xr 2×aday, 2mg klonapin 3×aday, and 20mg Adderall ir 2×aday. Now the doctor wants me on Vimpat but im to afraid to start it. To many meds. I still have auras often most of the time my mom or boyfriend will hold me and talk to me to get me out of it before it goes into a seizure but then sometimes speaking to me doesn't work and im in a seizure. Are these combinations that i take ok? Or even safe? Please help.

I have been taking Keppra for years now and have had troubles with both memory and word recall. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and solved the problem by changing med's?

I’ve been on Carbotral since i was 8, and trokendi since i was 14-15. I was hospitalized in the past 2 weeks to study my absent seizures off all medications, because i normally have auras only when medicated, until the padt year, ive recently began having absents again also. The doctors tested one medication that was unsuccessful while i was hospitalized, before testing Vimpat over a 24 hour period, and then i was released. My daughter has epilepsy, doctors don't seem to truly listen to her symptoms. We had a great dr but she retired. Since then we seen at least 1/2 dozen each saying that's the wrong meds try this try that. The area affected is around frontal lobe. She has absence, drop, gram mal. In my opinion they just keep changing patterns. The one medicine that has always seemed to help is lamictal. Is there any particular epilepsy medication that damages your eyesight? I wear glasses but I am finding all the medication I am on is making my vision worse. I'm not sure which drug is causing the problem but when I go to my opticians I'm going to ask them.
