Hey friends,
Has any one/ been taking triliptal with briviact ?
Currentaly, im taking out tegretol to replace it with triliptal? Or any other med with triliptal with no interaction?
One more thing, does any one knows or goes to good epilepsy specislidt in georgia?
Thank you,
Feras
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member Ever since I had been put on Briviact 2 years ago, I haven't had any seizures and an aura once in awhile.
What year did you get it?
Pre Epilepsy and specifically since adapting to Lamotrigine I used to have night terrors / hallucinations everyday for 2 weeks on and off roughly every 3 months. I've not had any after being on Lamotrigine for 8 months. It's now been over a yr since I had bad night terrors so I thought maybe it's from the medication given they are also used for bipolar disorder.
Tho is trippy , I have maxed out on all theme meds. I also ride my bike all over the place. Parity much every med I have been on I have been making out on . Every new one I same to get.
I've been on lamotrigine which caused double vision only when I was having a toxic reaction. Now I'm switching over to trileptal and it's seeming that it's constant now. Whether I'm wearing my glasses or not. I'm going to go get an eye exam once I'm up to the full dose without the lamotrigine.
Anyone have similar? I know it's a potential effect of a lot of the AEDs
Can those who have had good results with either lamictal or/or trileptal please comment on your experiences with? thanks :)
My son is switching from trileptal to zonegran currently. He just started having issues sleeping at night the last week or so - he is now taking 150mg of zonegran at bedtime and is weaning off trileptal (now at 600mg AM and PM). Will be checking blood levels of both the end of this week before our next decrease of trileptal.
Has anyone had insomnia on zonegran? If so, did moving it to AM help at all?
Thanks!
I have been on Vimpat and Zonisamide for about ten years and I’ve had insomnia as long as I’ve been on these meds. I’m demanding a medication change now
Depends on the state any type of epilepsy you have. Ask your neurologist
