Dilantin
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I took Dilantin for a few years as a child. I'm not sure why my doctor switched me from Dilantin to Tegretol, but I'm assuming it's because I broke through on it. I really liked it, but I suppose what I'm on now is best for controlling my seizures.

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi there ladies & gents. I have just joined this group and it seems really nice and welcoming
I was going to ask something, has anyone had any sort of memory trouble when taking the lamotrigine medication? I was on 100mg 3 times a day and my memory really did seem faint. I was getting really worried about this but the doctors didn't really do anything about it. I have had the lamotrigine decreased as I am taking a higher dose of keppra now but really would like someone to write back if they… read more

Can Keppra Cause Irregular Tiredness?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

My daughter has been on Epilim Chrono 300mg twice a day since April 2014. She was on different doses of Lamictal from November 2014 to July 2015. She was taken off that as it wasn't working and put onto Keppra. She has been taking Keppra 750mg in the morning and 500mg at night. She was doing fine until two weeks ago. She started getting extremely tired and dizzy at school - the school actually phoned me to come and fetch her. Tuesday I kept her at home, and on Wednesday she went back to school… read more
