I have absence seizures and I am on 250mg Lamotrogine twice daily and have now added Frisium/Clobazam. Lamotrogine in pregnancy seems safe but Frisium/Clobazam not so much. Interested to hear from anyone who has been pregnant on Frisium/Clobazam and their experience.
Can Frisium cause seizures?
I would call a pharmist and they would know it would be the best and faster, I ask a pharmis alot of things like if I take a pill over the counter I ask just that Im cautsion being sz free
Like a lot of people, stress and anxiety have been the main triggers for my epilepsy over the years. Just wondering if anyone has used Frisium along with Lamicta and Keppra or any other meds for that matter. I would really appreciate it if they could give me an insight into how they reacted to it. In some people it will have a calming effect which had helped some people with epilepsy.
Wishing you health and happiness!!
My neuro is reducing my Carbamazepine and wanting to add an additional med to better control the seizures. Has anyone else has this scenario and if so what med works well in tandem with Carb? I am new to the seizure world.
I was on it once but they switched me to Lamottrigine
As part of my little medicine cocktail I'm on 20 mg am ,20 mg am of clobazam ( Onfi ,Frisium) I'm still awaiting contact from my new neuro.I decided to reduce the night time dosage to 1 tablet .I know it's a benzodiazapine & strong Anybody had problems weaning themselves of this ? I don't intend to reduce it any more TIA
I din’t have Onfi but do have friscium!
Sorry ,I've not been on for a few months due to family illness. .I'm on 3 anti convulsants Briviact,Lamotrigine & clobazam. . I know this a benzodiazapine & quite a powerful med .)My new consultant suggested I come off clobazam, which I've done ,gradually, over 6 weeks.( I first took it as a rescue med about 20 years ago but it became a med I took am & pm about 10 years ago.I also take Briviact & Lamotrigine) .Absences & focal onset seizures haven't been controlled for 10 years. ) To cut a long… read more

I have been on Onfi (clobazam is the generic name, and much cheaper!) for years. It has made all the difference for me, with no seizures since my Dr first prescribed it! It IS a benzodiazepine, and… read more
Is anyone here taking frisium and is drinking alcohol in general very negatively reactive with it i.e. A couple of drinks not a session.
I've had JME epilepsy for 20 years. I was always on Epilim which kept me pretty well seizure free. A while back, my fiancé and I decided that we would change meds as recommended by my neurologist so that we can have a baby.
It wasn't as easy as first expected and I had a couple of seizures, trying to transfer over to Keppra. My neuro added Frisium which seems to have worked and I'm now over a year seizure free.
I am also now 19 weeks pregnant. Reaching the half way mark, I am… read more
I seem to be unable to stay awake when I take this medication. Has anyone else had bad side effects?
I've had it but they only gave it to me for four days. Apparently its a very strong Med.
