Is epilepsy-related fatigue making it hard to keep up with your part-time job?

What you're describing is so real and so common with epilepsy. Fatigue isn't just "feeling tired" — it's a deep, draining exhaustion that can wipe out an entire day (or more). You are absolutely not alone in this.

Fatigue in epilepsy can come from several directions at once:

- The neurological toll seizures take on the brain
- Medication side effects
- Poor or disrupted sleep
- Emotional stress, which can also feed into exhaustion Before making any decisions about your job, it's really worth having an honest conversation with your neurologist about what you're experiencing. They may be able to:

- Review your current medications to see if fatigue is a side effect
- Adjust your treatment plan
- Suggest complementary approaches like gentle yoga or mindfulness to help your body recover

Some MyEpilepsyTeam members have found that yoga helps with rest and stress relief, which can ease some of that bone-deep exhaustion.

PJ days are valid recovery days. Be kind to yourself. 💙
