I started taking Keppra about 5 months ago and I get the tremors and light headedness so I lowered my dose, and am much better for the lower dose.
Dose anyone else have the same side effects or anything else?

Members responding to a question about Keppra side effects widely shared their personal experiences, with tremors, lightheadedness, and mood or temperament changes being the most commonly mentioned concerns. Several members noted that side effects often eased over time or improved at lower doses, while others found better results switching to alternatives like Lamictal or combining Keppra with Zonisamide. A recurring theme was the importance of working closely with a neurologist when adjusting doses, and many offered encouragement by sharing long stretches of seizure-free living as proof that finding the right fit is worth the effort.

Keppra has actually been the only medications that has worked for me and im now 5½ years seizure free. And im only on 500mg twice a day even my neurologist was shocked when I told him

Most people get tremors, no matter what medication taken.

Keppra can also mess with one’s temperament/behavior.
Keppra messed me up big time. Changed doctors. Don’t remember which ones. After trying different meds I was very very shaky. Needed help just to hold a glass. Moved, new doctor, changed to LamoTRIgine, generic for Lamictal. The best one I’ve taken.

What you’re experiencing are both side effects from Keppra . They are considered uncommon side effects over the common side effects
