feet. It’s becoming more and more noticeable. I can’t even get through a four hour workday anymore without being totally exhausted. That being said it is now the nurse practitioners turned to do something about this since the doctor doesn’t want anything to do with it. This has proven been proven to me on several occasions, but I’m pretty much at the point I really don’t care if even having to get around on wheels if that will solve this and make my life a lot easier make me more independent… read more

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, you know where you need to go. I totally agree with you about wanting someone to jump on it and make it move. I can't believe you have such a mental case as a neurologist. It's sad to say, but it doesn't sound like he's going to move unless by an act of God. I totally feel for you, but I'd start looking. I know you're in a hell of a lot of pain, so putting it off only aggravates the pain you're going through.
I'd consider it malpractice, but it's not my call. The statute of limitation ran out and he hung up his shingle before I realized I could sue him, as I'm not a sue happy person. so I didn't do anything, but live with what he did.
I pray you get out of there or find solace within soon as your pain gets worse.
Take care, prayers you get some headway one way or another.

NathanGornet, I saw my first one with my neurosurgeon, referred me to him in the early 80s and then I saw my first one for 27 years I’m on my fourth one now with this office over the years and he’s got to be the worst one out of all of the ones that I had over the years he acts like he doesn’t want to do anything at all other than focus on what I was born with and it’s like everything else does it need to be addressed when it does cause all is doing now is getting worse and it seems to be affecting my both my legs as well as both of my feet too the fatigue is horrendous when it sets in though that’s why I want somebody to jump on this so I don’t have to keep pushing through it pushing through. It only makes it worse.

Nathan come November when I see the nurse practitioner I will tell them ““ if they don’t start waking up and addressing what I tell them that my next step is to pull my records and go elsewhere cause nothing is being done. They’re only doing what they wanna do they’re not addressing this other stuff as pretty much clear my current neurologist that I’m seeing once nothing to do with it he only wants to either Pamore medication‘s in me and only addressed my hydrocephalus as well as the seizure disorder that is not OK with me. I have told him time and time again about these symptoms and I’ve got nothing but BS responses and return he thinks it’s funny from what I’m seeing but the simple fact I can barely get around some days and my worst days confidence me to the darn couch when I’m home and keeps me from doing what either wanna do or have to do. And I’m not OK with the way he wants to do it. He needs either get off his backside addresses what I’m going through because if he doesn’t, I’m gonna end up, pulling my records myself and going to another location

I know what you mean, My 1st neurologist I saw from 1968 - 2014, after I called to let him know I had been released from the cardiac ward. He told me that I was on my own. So I left him and went elsewhere. Loyalty is one thing, but when it's your health you are going through hell. Look for someone on your insurance. The worst you could do is go to someone who won't do anything, either, which is what you current doctor does.

I brought it up numerous times but my next appointment with this nurse practitioner I’m supposed to see pretty much gonna say OK enough is enough. Something needs to be done. It is not letting up if this office is not gonna do anything then it’s time I go elsewhere. The only reason I haven’t left that office is cause I’ve been using them since 1981 and I have mentioned this on multiple occasions and still yet nothing has been done. Even with me working short days and I mean very short days it’s works on me real quickly.
