I just wondered is it reasonable to have 1 tonic clonic seizure weekly when on both Lamictsl and Xcopri. My son has a VNS as well. My question is about potentially adding a third anticonvulsant or just accepting this is as good as it gets. Side effects of nausea, spinning and dizziness, do they usually improve. My son has learning difficulties and struggles to communicate about things like this. Thank you anyone who knows the answer.

Christine: Adding another anticonvulsant will only shut down your son's brain more. That is all those drugs do. We need to find other ways to change abnormal brain activity. Neurofeedback is my suggestion to you.
