Members connected over the question of whether a new bottle of medication or early morning coffee could be causing dizziness, sharing similar experiences with both triggers. Several members noted that switching between brand-name and generic versions of the same medication can cause side effects like dizziness, nausea, and fatigue due to differing ingredients, and some suggested trying decaf coffee or herbal tea to rule out caffeine as a factor. A recurring theme was the importance of staying hydrated, eating before or after medication, and letting your doctor know about any new reactions.

Tegretol and Trileptal caused me dizziness and double vision if I didn't eat something right before or right after I took it.

Hallo Caleb .. William here .. with a couple things to check .. first be the coffee .. can you try decaf? I cannot drink coffee at all .. with the meds I be taking will combine forces and bring on a seizure ., we be sticking to herbal tea we grow ourselves so no additives .. second your meds., be you taking the brand name or generic? With me only the brand name prevent side effects like the dizziness or for me be also nausea and migraine .. generics cause reactions every time .. hope you be feeling better.. hugs and prayers from William and Jen 💜💙🤗🤗🕊🕊

Yes. I space out all my meals just to avoid that feeling. But u can also be having a reaction to the pill dye or the medicine itself if it’s something new to u. In which case u should tell ur dr
