Members responded to a question about being diagnosed as prediabetic while already managing seizure and anxiety medications, offering both personal stories and emotional support. Several members shared that prediabetes can sometimes be genetic, especially with a family history of type 2 diabetes, and that dietary changes and exercise helped some manage or reverse early signs without medication. A recurring theme was the emotional weight of juggling multiple serious diagnoses at once, with the community offering reassurance that members are not alone in facing these overlapping challenges.

Hallo Kathy .. understand how you be feeling .. at 6'2" and 140 lb soaking wet .. this be hard for me to be understanding too .. yet I be this way from birth ., so for me be genetic .. docs tell me and Jen I be predisposed to it .. that no diet or food avoidance help it ., I be simply unable to make insulin as my body cannot ., we thought to post you tgat you too may have a genetic link somewhere ., we know this not be helping much .. yet at least if you be knowing that it not be your fault ., just the way it be ., might help you to feel a bit better .. and with prediabetes there be hope you can avoid diabetes itself .. and sll the headaches from that ., you be not alone Kathy .. many on here be in the same boat β›΅.. we all be ready to help much as we be able to .. hugs and prayers from William and Jen πŸ’œπŸ’™πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ•ŠπŸ•Š

I’ve been on severe anxiety and severe depression meds along with epilepsy meds and I’ve had a few times where I was pre diabetic but they didn’t give me meds I basically cut out a lot of stuff and started exercising more to help it resolve. Like when I eat a lot of sugar stuff I have to cut the amount I get from stores by like 70% of the amount or at least 50% and now I’m usually drinking cirkul water which helps.
