I'm 5'6 and looked online about this post here, and it's considered short in statistics in the western culture and some other places also, but I am not complaining about that and am ok with it actually, I have nothing to complain about it and don't want it changed, I know we all grow up since a baby till now that time you stop growing up height wise, you can still gain weight but I have my own diet for that and is ok with me but I don't have any problem with how my height is and am fully grown… read more

Members responded warmly to a question about thoughts on height, with most sharing their own heights and expressing acceptance and gratitude regardless of whether they are tall or short. Several members described how health conditions like cancer, seizures, scoliosis, and aging caused them to lose height over time, yet they still found reasons to be thankful. A recurring theme was that height does not define a person's worth, with many finding humor and joy in their stature and focusing on what truly matters in life.

They say good things come in small packages. So Iam 5ft 1 does that make me good. Doesn’t really worry me. No one in my family is over 5ft 5. My husband had to stand on his tip toes to get into the army when he was 17 doctor said your young you’ll grow into it.

I'm 5' 11", I'm fine with it, I have cousins who are 6'10" so I'm short compared to them but they have to deal with being too tall. Then again, there's the Alton Giant who was 8' 11" and dwarfed all of the above, so all is relative. At 8' 11" just think it was to go on a date, find shoes / clothes, go in & out any building, drive a car, even finding a bed big enough to sleep in, etc.. Just think how hard it would be just to bend down to shake hands, or put your arms around even a tall person.
He'd be great at playing basketball, but he had foot problems, so not sure if that'd work. He ended up with a short life and died at 22yr.
