I only used Marijuana once, but never again. I drank very little while in college. Any drug or alcohol are harmful.

Yes, combining Keppra (levetiracetam) with THC-containing products is generally considered a bad idea. Cannabis is listed as a substance that can have an undesirable interaction with levetiracetam, which could make the medication less effective or cause harmful side effects. There are a few key concerns to be aware of:

- Drug interaction: Cannabis (THC) can interact with levetiracetam, potentially reducing its ability to control seizures
- Seizure risk: Some high-potency cannabis products have been shown to trigger seizures
- Vaping risks: Inhaled cannabis makes it very difficult to control how much THC you're actually taking in, making dosing unpredictable
- Driving: Using THC-containing products significantly increases the risk of accidents — something already worth being cautious about with epilepsy

It's really important to talk to your neurologist before mixing any cannabis product with your seizure medication. The last thing anyone wants is an unexpected seizure because of an avoidable interaction. 🙏

Thanks. I wasn't really clear with my question, but you answered most of it. I'm not saying like taking my meds and vaping at the same time. More like I vape regularly, then when I do take them, I pause or wait for an hour or so and then vape. Something like that. But I think i got my answer. Thanks again.
