I've only ever had seizures in my sleep. I'm on Keppra as well. Like AI and others have said, seizures during sleep is pretty common. I have a student who often has them while sleeping too. Basically, I make sure not to sleep alone, or to sleep with some sort of monitor.

Hi,
I take Keppra also 3000 mg a day. It has helped me to have less seizures over the years. I also take B6 and B12 vitamins along with my daily women vitamin.
There is a test that is done in the hospial to determine how many dosages of medication you can miss before you have a seizure. Everyone is different. I can only miss two dosages.
Definitely talk to your doctor since sleep is very important and your son has seizures during sleep and nap.
For me as I started sleeping better it also helped me to have less seizures.
