Members shared their personal experiences with flying alone in response to the question about solo travel, with many saying they have done it successfully while taking precautions like alerting nearby passengers about their condition or requesting a wheelchair. Several members described factors that influence their ability to fly, including the status of medical devices, physical limitations like collapsed lungs, and whether trusted companions are available to travel with them. A recurring theme was the importance of knowing your own body and accepting limitations with grace, met with warm encouragement and understanding from the community.

When I visited some1 in the family, yes I did fly alone, other times my son and friend flew with me. Depending on who I was visiting and when.
