Members responded to a question about whether epilepsy affects nerves throughout the whole body, sharing their own experiences with neurological symptoms beyond seizures. Several members described dealing with leg weakness, numbness, shooting nerve pain, and tingling in their hands and fingers, with some connecting these symptoms to epilepsy while others linked them to spinal issues or medication side effects. A recurring theme was the importance of working closely with a neurologist, asking questions, and staying informed, with members also offering encouragement and emotional support to one another throughout the discussion.

Google it. My neurologist performed an EMG in her office on my before on my arms down to my fingers. I’ve had tingling and numbness a lot on my right hand and she changed my medication.

I used to take Phenobarbitol. Somewhere I thought I heard they killed horses with it. I never learned if it was true or not.

Lena, we refer to our Andi Seizure Medications for shcheck bacck becausort as AED, which means Anti Epilepsy Drug. I looked at TrumpRx.gov It only has widely used drugs, pay Cash Only to the Manufacturer. They do not have any AEDs listed. However the site said check back, eventually they may become available. However, these are Brand Only, where a Generic could be less expensive.
