Many community members shared that they deal with both high blood pressure and epilepsy, with a recurring theme being that hypertension often runs in their families or developed alongside other serious health conditions like heart disease and diabetes. Several members shared that medication helps manage their blood pressure, though some noted it still remains difficult to control even with multiple pills. A few members also offered helpful tips like deep breathing before appointments to reduce 'white coat hypertension,' daily monitoring with a home blood pressure cuff, and stress-reducing activities like yoga, music, and walking a pet.

Ever since HS mine would run 144/88 with no issues. until 2014 when the doc's put me on BP meds because it went to 160/110, but now my BP is "normal" and I'm nolonger on BP meds. Probably because I'm not dealing with the stress at work.
