Not Too Hard For Me, But It's Very Stressful. In 2008, I Was Having 5-6 Seizures, Monthly. In 12/2023, I Stopped My Am & Afternoon Medication But Continued My Evening Meds, Haven't Had Any Seizures Until 2025. 3 Seizures In 2025 & 1, So Far 1 On 1/28/2026. Truly Muuuuuuch Less Than The Ones Prior.

Complex Partial Seizures or in todays medical term “ Onser Focal i
Impairment Awareness”. Meaning the person unconscious. While seizuring.

The challenge part with complex partial seizures , is that I never know when I seizure. I can go about our day, seizuring on and off and not realize it.. i don’t have any form of seizure warnings. Not even Auras.

The only way I do know of my seizures is when family or friend alerts me. Or maybe I’m in public and there’s a person upon me check and see if I’m OK.. Or I may get weird stares from many people in public.

For me, simple partial seizures are easy to deal with. They feel like
dizzy spells, and they last for about 10 to 25 seconds. If you have more
than four in a day and have more than one of those days per month, then do
what I do——I keep a notebook and write the dates, times of day, and
severity of each one. Then I bring that notebook to my neurologist.

I have partial focal awareness seizures but they occur mostly at night. The next day is frustrating especially trying to recall the previous day. I also lose some of my memory when these occur. The meds kept it partially under control but not completely. I think a major contributing factor is stress and anxiety which are hard to avoid.
