Hello! I have been taking combination medications for 32 years. Every 1-2 years I had to increase the dosage of the medications. At my last visit, the doctor told me when the maximum permissible dose of one of the medications was reached.
Has anyone had this experience when the dosage of the medication reached the maximum permissible dose? And if so, what was done?
I’ve have epilepsy close to twenty or thirty years. I forgot because my memory sucks now. I’ve taken almost everything and I’m not even eligible for surgery because both hemispheres are infected. I hope that we’ll all get better soon. Does anyone have the same thing as me with both sides being infected? It’s very hard to have epilepsy?! I pray every night for all of us to stay strong. Take care everyone!
It took 10 years to find a drug that will help you out?! You’re very patient. I take so many medications and I hate all of the side effects!
If you want some ideas to practice that will help the memory, let me know.
Have a good night.

There always different side effects on a drug change. I have had several drug changes to improve my epileptic condition. It took multiple changes over a 10yr period to find a drug that would work with few side effects.
I myself am at the highest dose of drug with ( Lamotrigine 700mg) been using this drug for the 6yrs with few seizures. Side effect, I nap every couple of days for around 3 hours.
Have a blessed day
That's great! Now tell me what has your feathers ruffled for what you say I said?
Thank you
