It most likely just that your body can't handle the amount of energy needed to do it. You could still do it but you would need to take regular rest breaks and drink water. The other issue it could be is dizziness from meds or just not drinking enough water in general throughout the day especially when doing things like running. I used to get dizziness at work but never really bothered about it. It was always from dehydration and just pushing to hard at work.

It sounds like you have discovered certain seizure . Run up a hill is similar to a moderate to high endurance exercise. Your body can’t handle those . Causing seizure of making you feel funny

Same with hot and cold. Those too can be triggers also. You just need to try and figure out what how high and how low of temperature you can handle .

Why do you feel funny and can't talk when running up hills in hot or cold weather?

What you're experiencing could be related to common epilepsy triggers that occur during physical exertion. Several factors might be contributing to these symptoms:

Overexertion and overheating are known seizure triggers. When you run uphill, your body works harder and can overheat quickly, especially in hot weather. This physical stress can lower your seizure threshold.

Dehydration often happens during exercise, particularly in extreme temperatures. This is another common trigger that can make you more susceptible to seizure activity.

Hyperventilation from intense physical activity like running uphill can also trigger seizures in some people. The rapid breathing changes oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in your blood.

Temperature extremes themselves can be problematic. Both very hot and very cold conditions can act as triggers for some people with epilepsy.

The feeling of being unable to talk could indicate you're experiencing a focal seizure or an aura (warning sign before a seizure). This is definitely something you should discuss with your neurologist right away.

It's important to talk with your doctor about these episodes so they can evaluate whether you need medication adjustments or should modify your exercise routine to avoid these triggers.
