Your opinion on the post here you make, I am curious and wondering is all, at first I wasn't sure what I was going through and what it was when diagnosed with but over time grew up and learned more about it and still am, but I have accepted it in my life with and am used to it when it comes about to me and it's moments it does, it' does have a time when a bad one may come about but nothing I haven't went through before and it's not the same since being diagnosed with, I think it's more stable… read more

Members responded thoughtfully to a question about whether they have accepted and grown accustomed to living with their condition, with many saying they are okay with it even if it took time to get there. Several members shared that while they found peace with their initial diagnosis, progression of their condition brought new challenges, including losing the ability to drive or work, and one member opened up about falling into deep depression before finding help through a therapist. A recurring theme was the importance of acceptance, leaning on faith, seeking support, and staying positive even through the hardest moments.

And I highly doubt they will ever come up with a cure for it Dave as not one of us has the same identical symptoms or degree of epilepsy plus it deals with the brain and none of us has the same type of brain activity ( or we’d all be geniuses and could do anything we want). So I have never thought about there being a cure for it- just keeping it 💯

I was stable for a number of years. Then my AVM ruptured and all hell broke loose. As as of now I’m trying to recover from 3 brain surgeries and other health problems so I can’t really say that I’m okay with this. But I’m always looking on the bright side, I’ll never give in or give up. Life is too short for that .
