incorrectly.I have Grand Mal seizures regularly and afterwards I'm shizo effective. To help my loved ones I basically keep myself isolated most of the time, locked in the room. Its like they suffer from what I go through more than I do due to fear.I lost a family due to this and don't know what im supposed to do.Im reaching out for help
Sounds like your siezures are causing a Post seizure ( after seizure ) activity. You seizures are hitting the exact part of your brain that triggers you schizophrenia .
There are many of us who experience as Post seizure activity , like…..
1. feeling angry or mad
2. Depressed or sad
3. Possibly Laugh
4. Confused
5. May have trouble speaking
6. Exhaustion
And.other Post seizure activities.
Hi cali try to shut myself off after a seizure
How can you help your loved ones understand and cope with your grand mal seizures?
It's understandable that you're trying to protect your loved ones, but isolating yourself may actually increase their fear and worry rather than help. Opening up about your seizures and educating those around you can be part of the solution.
I've heard it all throughout the 20yrs I've been dealing with it.The seizures don't even bother me anymore as much.Im more focused on trying to get them dealt with in order order to end the Schizophrenia issue. There's been times when I've became violent

I am in my 40’s and I have had epilepsy ever since I was 10 years old. I have continued to live with my parents up to this day. They would rather I was living safe with them instead of living on my own.
