I just had a gruesome 10 weeks of acting classes. The teacher noticed I had a hard time memorizing lines, and she was pissed at me. However, the material she provided was boring, which is why I had trouble. I take Vimpat, and I know that causes memory problems. I don't think it's just epilepsy either. I need something fun & I will remember. I should've just told her I had epilepsy and the medication messes with my memory. I think it would have worked out better.
Write stuff down on paper or alerts on your phone. With typical life necessities, like dealing with the phone company, hand write and/or type in your computer a SUMMARY Page with the date, time and events that happened. Save in paper or computer folder, for use in the future. This will save you extensive time in the future and reduce your stress, which we know can cause a seizure. I just did this regarding purchase of pants. Results were excellent when I had to contact the manufacturer for help. My best

Oh Yes. Before I had seizures I had the best memory a kid could ask for. When I read a story I could tell my mom everything about. However the VERY moment I started having seizures I no long could, and still can’t, remember anything. I’ve heard how continuous seizures can cause our brain to harden and shrink which reduces our brain cells. I also have temporal lobe seizures. The temporal lobe is where the hippocampus is located which is the part of the brain that stores memory. So the dead brain cells in my temporal lobe effect my memory too. My mom takes care of everything. Back in school she helped me with my homework and read every book I had to read in school.

Yes I do and have suffered with memory loss issues for quite a while now, it can be annoying but if it is important things I always write it down immediately in case I forget which normally I do
