I am ok with my condition I have and it's more stable than before, and my general health is ok with also for the most part, but I once in a while do catch the flu and a cold I have today, other people here have it' my wife and daughter have it and that's where I assuming I caught it from, I usually don't have a problem with that and sometimes I'll catch from nowhere and go through it, it doesn't happen to me often but does on occasion, but that is my opinion here, what are your thoughts… read more
Cold /Flu seems to have a higher percentage during the cold seasons
I have gotten the flu shot normally, due to not getting sick w/ a cold lately I've skipped.
My regular Doctor has always advised me to get the flu shots due to both my Asthma and my Epilepsy, although my asthma hasn't been as bad since I came to Ireland, but I choose to have it every year so that I keep well and generally don't get hit as hard by it as I might without the flu shots
I am pretty healthy. No, I do not get the flu nor a cold. I take enough supplements to help me. Even in school I hardly missed any days. About 4 years ago I got a cold and it really hit me. I have heard that when a healthy person gets sick they really get it bad. And it was bad.
Ever since I had the temporal lobectomy, I don't get the flu - maybe twice in the last 25 years. When I did get it, it was one or two days. I stopped getting the shot about 10 years ago.
